In this paper, according to its distribution and damaged degree, and the economical value ot host plants, spreading possibility and control in China, a discussion is made of on the pest risk analysis and assessment of Corythucha ciliate Say, a new invaded pest in China. The results have shown that this pest is a moderate devastating forest pest in China, and needs to be carefuly quarantined and managed.
