Cen Shen and Jiazhou Culture

岑参在嘉州逗留时间虽然不长,但其诗歌很有特色。其诗歌创作主要有三个方面:对嘉州风物的歌吟、对故乡的遥念、对佛门归隐的向往,表现出诗人晚年的复杂心态。其诗作在嘉州的流布传承有序,对嘉州文学与文化产生了重大影响。

Cen Shen, who stayed in Jiazhou for a short period, composed plenty of distinctive poems and lyrics. His works are composed of three categories： the eulogy for Jiazhou cultural customs, the home-sickness, and the yearning for Buddhist＇s anchoretic life, which reflects his intricate mind in his late years. His poems spread widely in Jiazhou and have a significant influence on the loeul literature and culture.
