Australia＇s multicuhural policy was initiated during the Whitlam＇s time, and finished its basic structure in the period of Bob Hawke. Based on his two former governments＇ political heritage, the Hawke government put the development of multicuhural society into systematic orbit. During this period, the organizations of management, service and consultation aimed for propelling the multicultural society were being established and perfected, which provided a guarantee system to the formation and fulfillment of multicultural policies; the issue of ‘A National Agenda for a Muhicuhural Australia＇ put the importance of creating multicultural society to unprecedented political altitude; there were plenty of connotation about Australia＇s muhicuhural society from one perspective of proposing the policy of conciliation with the Aboriginal people.
