This paper takes the musicians＇ contribution to piano performance in different periods as the main line, the etude development in the baroque period, the classical period, the romantic period, the impressionistic period and the 20th century as the basis, straightens up the developing thread of the etude and discusses the piano performance skill development in different periods.
