The Display of the Translator’s Subjectivity——Lin Yutang and Six Chapters of a Floating Life

译者是翻译的主体,也是民族文化建构的重要参与者,然而翻译主体长期受到遮蔽,出现了译者文化地位的边缘化现象。随着翻译研究的"文化转向",翻译主体研究得到了应有的重视,并逐渐走向深入。全文从英译《浮生六记》和林语堂及其翻译思想的角度出发,分析译者主体性的内涵及其表现,以期拓展和深化翻译主体研究。

The translator is the subjectivity of translation and an important participant in the construction of a national culture. But such translational subjectivity has long been obscured, the result of which is the marginalized cultural status of the translator. With the ＂cultural turn＂ in translation studies, proper attention has been paid to the subjectivity of translation. This paper, based on Six Chapters of a Floating Life and LinYutang＇s translation thoughts, mainly discusses the translator＇s subjectivity and the connotations in an attempt to further the research on the translational subjectivity.
