摘要
西方商业银行20世纪70年代遭遇了日益严峻的经营环境,面对着"脱媒"现象、非银行金融机构的激烈竞争以及动荡的宏观经济,西方银行普遍实施了差异化战略,并成功的走出了困境。目前我国商业银行也面临着与当时西方商业银行相似的问题,研究并借鉴西方商业银行的差异化战略对提升我国商业银行竞争力具有重要意义。
The commercial banks of western countries encountered tough conditions of operation in 1970s. The difficulties include "disintermediation", the severe competition from nonbank financial institutions and the roil macro economy. In order to deal with these problems, banks of the western countries implemented the differentiation strategy and succeeded. At present, the commercial banks in China are confronted with similar problems of what western banks have encountered, so it's very meaningful to study and draw lessons from the differentiation strategy in order to upgrade the competitiveness of commercial banks of China.
