论认知语言学对语义模糊的解释力

On Explanatory Power of Cognitive Linguistics in Semantic Fuzziness

语义的模糊性是语言的内在属性,是由人类的认知特点所决定的。从认知角度分析语义的模糊性,不但可以丰富认知语言学的内容,而且对模糊语言学的发展也可以提供一种方法论上的指导。从范畴化的典型理论出发用具体的案例解释了语义模糊的成因,并指出了范畴化的典型理论对语义模糊的解释的局限性。

Vagueness of meaning is a build-in nature of language. It is decided by the cognitive characteristics of the human being. To understand vague meaning from a cognitive perspective can enrich the content of cognitive linguistics and can provide a methodological guidance to the development of vague linguistics. This paper tries to explain the cause of formation for vague meaning from a perspective of prototype theory ; furthermore, the limitation of prototype theory is pointed out.
