h指数对期刊的解读——以图书馆学情报学期刊为例

Decoding Periodical by H-index——Taking Periodicals of Library and Information Science as Examples

以《中国引文数据库》为数据源,将图书馆学情报学核心期刊的h指数进行了统计,探讨了h指数在期刊学术影响力评价中的有效性,描述了期刊动态h指数和期刊静态h指数的成长特点,而且从纵向和横断的角度对期刊的影响力进行了刻画。同时,提出利用期刊静态hy1-y2和hy1-y2/Np两个新的指标,可以对某一时段期刊的内在价值及质量进行简便、科学和合理的评价,并能够有效克服期刊影响因子"即时性"的缺陷。

Taking Chinese Quotation Database as the statistical sources, the paper analyses statistically the h-index of periodicals of hbrary and information science and probes into its validity of h-index in academic influence evaluation of periodicals, and outlines the growing characteristics of both dynamic and static h-index of periodicals, and makes a longitudinal and traverse study of periodical influence as well. In addition, this paper puts forward two new static indexes of periodicals, namely hy1-y2 ＆ hy1-y2/Np,, they are capable of briefly and scientifically appraising periodical intrinsic value and quality in a certain period, and efficiently overcoming the instantness hmitation of impact factors of periodicals.
