How to improve efficiency of digital transmitter and how to reduce running cost and environmental pollution have more significance to China, which is a large country of radio and television. The paper discusses problems of energy using efficiency of DTV transmitter, and analyzes envelope following technology's contribution to reduction of running cost and environmental pollution.
