探讨大学图书馆的学科馆员问题。从学科馆员产生的背景,国内外对于学科馆员的定位,到学科馆员制度的产生,队伍建设,工作职责。全面而多角度的对学科馆员问题进行剖析,阐述了作者对大学图书馆学科馆员理解,以及对这项工作发展前景的期盼。
Following with the information and technology progressing. A large amount of knowledge could be sought on internet by people. Library service falls into a dilemma. Most readers wouldn＇t go to library as before to obtain their needs. The rule of Subject librarians was first established in Canada and USA for improving this situation. Then it extends to Chinese universities. Subject librarians built a bridge between the academic library and departments in university. It is statement of Subject librarian and service in this issue.
