摘要
肿瘤相关的炎症表现包括淋巴细胞侵润到肿瘤组织,肿瘤坏死因子(tumor necrosis factor,TNF)和白介素-1(interleukin-1,IL-1)等细胞因子的表达以及趋化因子CCL2和CXCL8等的表达等等。肿瘤相关巨噬细胞(tumor-asso-ciated macrophage,TAM)是炎症与肿瘤相关性中的重要调节者,在肿瘤微环境中表现促肿瘤的性质:表达生长因子和基质蛋白酶,促进血管生成,抑制免疫反应。因此,T A M可以成为肿瘤治疗中除传统治疗对象外的另一个靶标。
Tumor-associated inflammation includes: the presence of leukocyte infiltration; the expression of cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF) or interleukin (IL)-1; chemokines such as CCL2 and CXCLS. Tumor-associated macrophagcs (TAM) are key regulators of the link between inflammation and cancer in the tumor micro-environment. TAMs have several protumoral functions, including expression of growth factors, matrix proteases, promotion of angiogenesis and suppression of adaptive immunity. In this review we will discuss the role of TAM in the inflammatory micro-environment of solid tumors and will try to identify the potential for future therapeutic approaches.
