GEO基因表达数据库中芯片技术平台的统计分析 被引量:2

摘要 基因芯片现已深入到生物学研究的多个方面,如表达谱分析、基因分型分析、比较基因组学分析、甲基化分析、ChIP-on-chip分析、微RNA分析等。基因芯片研究产生了海量的数据,由NCBI开发维护的GEO是最为知名的存贮和查询芯片数据的综合型数据库,存在多种多样的芯片技术平台。本文介绍GEO数据库中涉及的芯片技术平台、对其涉及物种、制造技术类型(cDNA芯片、寡核苷酸芯片等)、应用方向(mRNA、基因组DNA等)、供应商等进行了统计分析。 Microarray has gotten extensive application in different aspects of biology research such as expression profiling analysis, genotyping, aCGH analysis, ChiP-on-chip, methylation analysis and microRNA analysis, etc. Tremendous amount of data were generated from such studies, and GEO designed and maintained by NCBI is the most famous comprehensive database from which microarray data could be stored, extracted and used. There were various types of microarray platforms. We reviewed the microarray platforms stored in GEO, made calculations and gave some statistics about the species, microarray technology, their application field and commercial providers regarding different microarray platforms.
