On the Beauty of Chan Sect of Buddhism in China and Chan Poetry

Chan Sect of Buddhism in China is endowed with high awareness of aesthetic appreciation. Its emergence pushed forward the development of classical aesthetics in China. And Chan-related poetry is the response of the soul to nature and serves as inspiration for human beings. Compared with other school of poetries, Chan poetry has unique imagery system, unique creation of artistic conception and unique ways of expressions, thus embodying unique aesthetic focus.
