原子、分子是物质结构的第一个微观层次,是通向下两个微观层次———原子核和粒子的大门.原子分子物理在宇宙物质和过程的研究中起到基础理论的重要作用,而宇宙物质和过程的前沿研究则向原子分子物理提供了许多新的生长点.
,,Atoms and molecules are the first microscopic layer which is the gate to the next two microscopic layers——the atomic nucleus and particles. Atomic and molecular physics plays an important role in fundamental science in the study of cosmic matter and processes. Research on cosmic matter and processes provide many new growth points for atomic and molecular physics. There are always many atomic and molecular problems in astrophysics which should be discussed and studied.
