The Impact of Next Generation Wireless Communication Technology on Satellite Communication System

摘要 下一代无线通信技术的飞速发展给整个电信产业带来技术变革的机遇。分析了目前下一代电信技术发展的现状;从3G阶段过渡至4G阶段的技术差异及其关键技术入手,阐述了在未来无线通信系统中,作为特殊通信方式的卫星通信所扮演的角色和需要做出的技术改进。通过分析B3G/4G关键技术和系统要求,描述了基于全IP系统中卫星通信的未来目标和演进方向。卫星通信网与多种地面业务传输网的相互连通,将成为地面业务传输网不可缺少的补充和延伸,并与地面通信网一起联合组成全球无缝覆盖的一体化式通信网。而卫星通信技术与其他传统技术或3G/4G技术相互融合将成为卫星通信发展的趋势。 With the rapid development of the next generation wireless communication technology, the industry of telecommunication will undergo great changes due to the novel technology. The next generation communication technology and the main differences between 3G and 4G technologies are discussed in this paper. Moreover, the role played by satellite as a special communication technology in the future wireless communication systems and the technical requirements are analyzed. The future objective and further development of the satellite communication system based on all-IP are discussed in light of the key technologies and requirements of B3G/4G wireless communication. Satellite communication network as a necessary complement and extension will be integrated with the various terrestrial networks, and they will be combined into a seamless integrated network. It is a trend of the satellite communication to integrate the industry of the satellite communication with the traditional technologies or the technologies of 3G/4G.
