Research on the Expert System in Criminal Investigation

专家系统是一个可以将领域知识存储起来用于解决复杂问题的计算机系统。由于犯罪手法(Modus Operandi,MO)的相似性,侦查推理的基本形式为类比推理,专家系统具有知识更新能力,因此建立侦查专家系统是可能的。建立侦查专家系统,应当选择合适的系统类型,设计合理的系统结构,实现知识工程师和侦查专家的有效合作,并分专业领域建立侦查专家系统。

Expert system is a computer system in which field knowledge can be stored to solve complicated problems. Due to the similarity of the Modus Operandi, the basic form of investigation reasoning is analogical reasoning. It is possible to create an expert system in criminal investigation because it can update its knowledge base. To build an expert system in criminal investigation, a proper type of expert system should be chosen, a proper structure of expert system should be designed, the effective collaboration between intellectual engineers and experts in criminal investigation, and the expert system in criminal investigation should be created according the specialty.
