In this paper, I discuss Hull＇s theory of credit and citation in science, the selection model in the conceptual evolutionary process of science. I also briefly analyze colleagueg comments of Hull＇s selection theory and the differences between Hull＇s theory and viewpoints of other scientific philosophers such as Kuhn, Popper. Finally, I will make some conclusions concerning this topic and point out the unsolved problems.
