2008年。一些专用汽车在年初南方雨雪冰冻灾害（除雪车、除冰车、发电车、煤炭运输车等）．5月抗震救灾（救护车、汽车起重机．移动通信车、洗消车等）、夏季北京奥运会（警用车、环卫车、工程车等）等重大事件中发挥了重要作用。2009年初，由于全国降雪（降雨）量普遍减少。道路、机场除雪除冰车没有充分发挥作用；但发生的大面积旱灾．却给其他一些专用汽车提供了机会。

Earlier 2009, more than 10 provinces （regions and cities） were stricken by a fierce drought of every 50 years, which had brought great attention of the authority. Governmental department, social resources and people in drought-stricken areas have been actively engaged in relief efforts, a large number of special purpose vehicles, including sprinklers, fire-engine, emergency electricity generators and oil-tankers were playing a crucial role in fighting against the drought.
