Analysis on the influences of Chinese and Western philosophy thinking on traditional gardens

对中西方哲学思想、园林艺术及园林各元素表现手法的差异进行了比较,分析了其对传统园林艺术的影响及对现代园林发展的启示,指出无论东方或西方、传统或现代园林形式采取全盘否定或照搬形式的态度都是不可取的。

The differences of Chinese and Western philosophy thinking, landscape art, landscape elements expression means were compared, their influences on traditional landscape art and enlightenment to modem landscape development were analyzed. It pointed out that it was un- available to full denial or coping Chinese or Western, traditional or modem landscape form.
