Study on Breeding of Alstroemeria in China

六出花良种选育主要通过不断选择再组合进行单杂交、复杂交、多父杂交及良种花粉混合杂交等多种形式，促使分离获得新品种，并不断去杂去劣再选择不断回交与姊妹交纯合，使已获得的新品种不断保纯，扩大培养品质，并对杂交小苗进行耐高温抗逆性定向培育提高良种生活力．

The elite Alstroemeria is bred mainly by way of incessantly selecting from their hybrid populations and crossing of combinations of single cross,compound cross and mixed pollinations.By adopting the method of single plant selection from their progenies,new varieties were thus bred.Along the above program,continuous selecting and back crossing and sib crossing were conducted to enlarge the range of the new vareties obtained and purify their hereditary trait.Furthermore,the heat tolerant training with the hybrid seedling was carried out to increase their vitality.
