清华大学始于"留美预备学校",经过20世纪二三十年代的飞速发展,一跃成为国内著名的高校。1928年,罗家伦长清华大学后,推行"廉洁化、学术化、平民化、纪律化"的政策,真正造就了一个现代化、独立化的清华大学。罗家伦长清华时期,"改隶废董"、教授治校、延聘名师、改组学科、重视学术研究,是清华大学发展的转折期。

Tsinghua University began from the 'Preparatory school for future studying in America',underwent fast development in 1920s and 30s,and leapt into the domestic famous university quickly.Luo Jialun became the president of Tsinghua University in 1928,and carried out the policy of 'integrity,academic,common people,discipline',and has accomplished a modernized and independent Tsinghua University,which is the transition period of Tsinghua University.
