In the sixties of the 20th century,the structuralism flourished intellectully and opened a new era remarkably for social science research in France.This paper attempts to explore the origins and the research characteristics of the French structuralism semiology,and interpret the methodology of the cross-discipline created by the structuralism,and look forward to its future development.The author thinks the studies will benefit the research and development on modern linguistics,literature and semiology.
