Objective： To discuss the effect of practice base establishment in metropolises on the nursing specialty construction. Method：Using the evaluation index system of specialty construction and analyzing the clinical nursing practice work in recent years. Result：Practice base establishment plays an active role in the nursing specialty construction. Conclusion： We should continue to strengthen the practice base establishment in metropolises to improve nursing specialty construction.
