三星堆文化中的器物造型各异,祭祀崇拜活动丰富复杂,但都贯穿着祖先崇拜这一主脉。祖先崇拜是三星堆文化造型艺术的一个"母题",其自然崇拜的艺术造型中隐含着祖先崇拜的信息,图腾崇拜的艺术造型中传达着祖先崇拜的先声,人像群的造型更是直接以人的容貌来象征祖先的形象。从自然崇拜、图腾崇拜到祖先崇拜的过程,是古蜀人不断强化人的尺度的过程。由此其造型艺术的审美风貌也呈现为"张扬之美"。

The process from nature worship, Totem worship to ancestor worship is continuously strengthening humans. Hence,we can see the ＂Beauty of Magnifyingness＂ in its plastic arts.
