摘要
BiB3O6(BIBO)晶体是一种新型的非线性光学晶体,物化性能稳定,具有相当大的非线性光学系数,可以制作成频率变换器件,获得高效的倍频激光输出。本文报道了用BIBO晶体对一台运转于914nm激光谱线的LD泵浦Nd∶YVO4激光器进行腔内倍频获得高效率的457nm蓝光输出的实验结果。用国产的激光二极管端面泵浦厚2.0mm、掺杂浓度1.0%的Nd∶YVO4激光晶体,在注入泵浦光功率为8W时,用5mm长的I类临界位相匹配BIBO晶体获得的TEM00模蓝光输出达1.83W。
BiB3O6(BIBO) was a novel nonlinear crystal, which had stable physical and chemical properties and big nonlinear effective coefficient, so BIBO could be used as frequency conversion device to obtain efficient second har- monic wave generation. In this paper, high efficient blue laser at 457 nm was generated by BIBO crystal inserted in a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser at 914 nm for intra-cavity frequency doubling. A home made laser diode was used to end pump a piece of 1.0 mm long Nd:YVO4 crystal dopped with 1.0%. With 8 W pumped laser, 1.83 mW TEM00 mode stable blue laser output was obtained by a 5 mm long I-typed BIBO crystal.
