A description is given of the operation of a 3 000 mm uniform-temperature reactor in a 200 kt/a methanol unit. The actual operation for two years shows that the reactor has the features of uniform distribution of temperature in the bed,high flexibility in operation,high single-pass CO conversion (>75%),and simple structure,so it has broad prospects for use.
