关联域与关联体:“双关”理论下的双关语翻译

Relevant Register and Relevant Body:an Application in Translation of Puns

从李占喜提出的"关联域"入手,与"关联体"概念相结合,将关联表达划分为"关联域"和"关联体"两部分,并着重分析二者之间的相互关系及其在双关语当中的体现,最终得出:双关语翻译要以在目的语中找寻对应的"关联域"与"关联体"的统一体为旨归。

This paper starts from the ＂relevant register＂ ever brought forward by Li Zhanxi, combines it with the concept of ＂relevant body＂ and puts forth the argument that any kind of puns can be divided into two parts： relevant register and relevant body, the relation between which and the embodiment of which in puns will be analyzed. In the final analysis, it safely comes to the conclusion that the pursuit for the utility of ＂relevant register＂ and ＂relevant body＂ in the target language shall be highlighted in translating puns.
