The ecological protection for side -slope of highway slopes is an important work of sustainable highway development ; it has a bearing on the ecological safety and beautifies the landscape of road system, and also affects the harmonious development between the highway construction and ecological environmental protection of ecology. Taking limonium bicolor for an example, this article discusses the principles and the basis of selecting the vegetation for slope protection for highway greening, thus providing for reference to select the species of vegetation restoring during the construction of project.
