“美少女”西瓜施用硒肥的试验初探

Trials of Application of Selenium Fertilizer onto Gift Watermelon

研究了西瓜始花期和座果期在叶面喷施硒肥对礼品西瓜品质的影响。结果表明,适宜的硒肥可提高西瓜果肉中的硒和可溶性固形物的含量,改善西瓜果皮的厚度,提高礼品西瓜的品质。其中,亚硒酸钠的浓度为50mg/L时,西瓜的品质较佳;但过高的硒浓度对礼品西瓜的生长发育有抑制作用。

Different concentrations of selenium fertilizer was sprayed onto gift watermelon at the stages of initial flowering and fruitsetting to observe their effects on the selenium content, soluble solids and peel thickness of the gift watermelon. The results indicated that selenium treatment at suitable concentrations increased the selenium content, soluble solids content and peel thickness of watermelon, and improved the quality of the gift watermelon. The quality of the gift watermelon was best in the treatment with sodium selenite at 50 mg/L. But too high selenium concentration inhibited the growth and development of the gift watermelon.
