摘要
流媒体(Streaming Media)是一种以音视频数据流的方式在网络上传递多媒体信息的技术。但是,一直以来由于视频数据量大和网络带宽有限的矛盾,流媒体技术的应用受到很大制约,因此必须根据流媒体的特点采用合适的网络协议和传输算法,才能达到较好的传输效果。
Streaming Media is known as a transfering technique of multimedia information on the internetbased on vedio and audio data streams. Because of the big amount of data stream and limited network bandwidth contrastively, the application of Streaming Media is restricted. Therefore we adopt appropriate network protocals and transfering algorithm accroding to the particular characteristics of Streaming Media, to implement better transfering results.
