摘要
上古传说中关于鲧与共工的故事颇多,且二者的读音相同,但他们分属两个不同的帝系:共工是氏族名,炎帝后裔,鲧是失败的治水英雄,黄帝后裔。因为上古人民常常沿用本氏族的历史名称来传说故事,造成了"共工"名称在从女娲到禹的上古史中频繁出现,共工氏族历史不断被神话化,以至于与后来的鲧混淆。
In antiquity fable, stories about Gun and Gonggong are recorded quite a lot, and their pronunciations are the same, but they belong to two different emperor departments： Gonggong is clan, the Yandi descendant. But Gun is the unsuccessful water- contol hero, the Huangdi descendant. Because the antiquity people frequently use the historical name of the clan to narrate fables, which has made the name ＂Gonggong＂appeare frequently in ancient history from Nvwa to Yu. Gonggong clan history has become mythic unceasingly so to be confused with subsequent Gun.
