基于异化、归化视角的华语电影名称英译策略

On Translation Strategy of Chinese Movie Names from the Perspective of Foreignization and Domestication

华语电影在国际电影舞台上的地位越来越重要。好的片名翻译相当于一张精美的名片,对华语电影在欧美的推广大有裨益。笔者从归化、异化翻译策略的角度提出了一些华语电影的片名翻译方法及其所蕴含的文化旨归。

Chinese movies play a more and more important role in the circle of world movies. Appropriate translation of movie names is of utmost importance, which is beneficial to the popularization and spreading of Chinese movies. By discussing the translation of movie names from the perspective of foreignization and domestication translation, the author holds that foreignization translation is an option.
