民族传统体育种类繁多、源远流长,蕴藏着丰富的文化内涵和人文精神,是各民族群众广泛参与的活动,并在政府的介入下得到一定的发展。推动其继承和繁荣,需要有足够的自尊和自信,需要政府的深度介入和建立良好的发展制度,以发展多彩的世界体育文化,展现古老文明在体育文化上的特质。

Traditional sports of ethnic minorities boast great diversities and a long history. They are rich in cultural meanings and humanity; hence enjoy mass participation and government sponsorship. To promote the inheriting and prosperity of these sports, we need not only adequate Self-esteem and self-confidence, but also more government sponsorship and a sound developmental system. Only by doing so can we develop a colorful world sports culture, and unfold the features of ancient sports culture.
