Buddhism is an important aspect of the theme of the Yuan Dynasty. In the extant Yuan Dynasty, there are 15 dramas associated with Buddhism. In these Buddhist dramas, Buddhist temple is the holy ground of love, the theory about Purdue and retributive justice is promoted, Buddhism have Moral Education function, Buddhism is patriotic and resists foreign aggression, all these reflect the tolerance of Buddhist and the pursuit of harmony.
