等通道挤压对Al-Ti-B组织的影响

摘要 Al-Ti-B中间合金线材作为细化剂在铝加工业的应用越来越广泛,但国产该合金中的TiAl3呈粗大杆状和较小的团块状,最大颗粒尺寸达到100μm以上,而进口的该合金线材中TiAl3主要呈较小的杆状和团块状分布,颗粒尺寸为10~30μm,并且TiAl3的数量也较多.采用等通道挤压方法能改善Al-Ti-B中间合金的组织,研究结果表明,由于等通道挤压的作用,Al-Ti-B中间合金细化剂组织中杆状的、块状的TiAl3被挤压断,TiAl3和TiB2数量相对增加,颗粒尺寸减小,质量接近国外产品水平. To improve the quality of domestic - made Al - Ti - B alloys at grain size, grain distribution and quantity of TiAl3 ,we employed the method of equal channel angular processing(ECAP) to treat the alloys and investigated the effects of ECAP on the microstructure of Al - Ti - B alloys. Experimental results indicate that, by dint of ECAP, the bacillifiorm TiAl3 in those Al - Ti - B alloys are broken by extrusion ; the quantity of TiAl3 and TiB2 is increased;and the grain size is reduced, Thus the quality of these treated alloys is approximate to exotic alloys.
