越剧是浙江主要戏曲剧种之一,昔日的山乡"小歌",如今无论从剧种的影响力还是观众的拥有量,堪称全国第二大剧种。当前,以建设浙江文化大省为目标,加强越剧人才培养与专业基地的建设,培养越剧应用型人才满足社会需求,对于学院学科专业建设有着重要的意义。

Shaoxing opera is one of the major genres of drama in Zhejiang. The former folk song is now the second largest genre of drama in terms of drama influence and the audience.
