辛亥革命时期,陈布雷任上海《天铎报》记者。他思想激进,倡言革命,大力声援武昌起义,积极宣传共和思想,对帝国主义对中国的侵略也进行了一定程度的揭露,为革命的宣传作出了贡献。陈布雷的活动奠定了他在新闻界中的地位,使他成为中国近代著名的记者。

Chen Bulei worked as a correspondent of Tianduo Daily during the Revolution of 1911 in China. Radical and revolutionary in thinking, he advocated revolution and expressed support for the Wuchang Uprising, and contributed a lot to popularizing the concept of Republic, disclosing the invasion of China by impe rialist countries and publicizing revolutionary activities. Chen＇ s work built up his reputation in the then journalistic circles and marked him one of the famous correspondents in modern China.
