摘要
近几年来,高功率光纤激光器发展迅速,在通信、医疗、军事等领域应用广泛。为了适应技术发展的需求,侧面泵浦技术应运而生。侧面泵浦技术解决了泵浦光进入光纤受到限制的问题,同时能使掺杂稀土光纤获得更高的耦合效率。结合实验室的课题,重点介绍了两种侧面泵浦技术的高功率光纤激光器。这两种侧面泵浦技术有更大的技术发展空间和应用前景。
The interest in fabricating high-power fiber optic lasers has increased dramatically in recent years. Such lasers have fund applications in medicine and various industries. Side pumping technology has emerged to meet the needs of the development of high-power fiber optic lasers ; the side pumping technology solves the problem of pumping light being limited when pumped into fiber channel, and gets high coupling efficiency in rare earth-doped fiber. Two new designs of high-power double-clad fiber optic laser based on side pumping are presented. They have greater development space and application prospect.
