Design and Fabrication of Hybrid Fiber Composite of Helmet

摘要 利用有限元分析了碳/Kevlar混杂纤维制备头盔时多种铺层方式的固化变形,根据头盔变形发生位置和小变形量的要求,确定了头盔在CF/KF/CF混杂方式下[02C/904K/02C]的铺层方式;保证头盔与外部设备的安装不受影响。利用VARI工艺制备头盔,并对碳纤维与C/K混杂纤维复合材料进行冲击试验,结果表明C/K混杂纤维耐冲击性能优于碳纤维复合材料。 The curing deformation of helmet fabricated using Carbon/Kevlar hybrid fiber with kinds of stacking sequences was analyzed by the finite element software. According to the request of the deformation location and the low deformation, the helmet's stacking sequence of [ 02C/904K/02C ] under the CF/KF/CF hybrid mode was determined, to ensure the installation of helmet and external equipments were not affected. The helmet was fabricated by VARI, then carbon fiber composite and C/K hybrid fiber composite were investigated by impact test. The results show that the impact resistance of C/K hybrid fiber composite is better than that of carbon fiber composite.
