2009年1月,金融运行总体平稳,主要特点是:广义货币M2增速继续回升,M1增速回落,现金投放正常;人民币贷款增加较多,主要是票据融资和中长期贷款明显多增;储蓄存款增速较快,企业存款增速连续两个月回升;银行间市场人民币交易活跃,市场利率继续下降,为历史最低水平;月末人民币汇率比上年末贬值0.05%,海外市场贬值预期与上年末基本持平。
China＇s financial developments in January 2009 were generally stable and showed the following features： growth of broad money M2 further went up and that of narrow money M1 declined, with normal cash issuance; RMB loans expanded more, particularly in financing via commercial papers and medium- and long-term loans; growth of savings deposits began to pick up, and expansion of corporate deposits rose for two consecutive months; interbank market saw brisk RMB transactions, market rate further fell to historical low; the end-January RMB exchange rate depreciated month-on-month by 0.05%, and expectations for RMB devaluation were basically the same as that at the end of last year in offshore markets.
