和谐是事物发展的有序性、一致性和协调性的表现。经济和谐包括微观经济体内部的和谐、宏观经济运行的和谐,以及经济发展与自然之间的和谐。从人类经济史来看,经济和谐与协调的思想由来已久。产业结构协调发展理论在20世纪以来得到了长足的发展。产业结构协调就是产业结构合理化,既是一种事物的状态,也是一个逐步形成的过程。产业结构协调的判断标准观点各不相同,产业结构协调本身就是经济和谐的表现,经济和谐和产业结构协调是社会和谐的基础。

Harmony is the presentation of regularity, uniformity and coordination of the development of objects. Harmony of economy includes the internal harmony of micro economy, of macro economy, and harmony between economic development and nature. Looking upon the humnan history of economy, the thought of harmony of econo- my and coordination is long-standing. The theory of industrial structure coordination has developed in the 20th century. The coordination of industrial strcture means the rationalization of industrial structure. It not only means a state but a process of evolvement as well. There are different standards to define the coordination of industrial structure, and the coordination itself means a harmonious prformance of economy, the harmony of economy and coordination of industrial structure are the basis of social harmony.
