摘要
退溪诗论以其性情论为哲学基础,诗歌作用于性情,使人心于动静之际,窥天理之流行,契天人合一之境。其诗歌实践既有"文以载道"的儒家传统,表现为理学家对理、对天德彝伦的本原性质的思索,美的形式本身并不是目的,而是循此进入道德审美境界;又暗合于道家崇尚自然的文艺思想,表现为道家对自然的亲近之情,景与意会,获得自由赏适的、感性的人生乐趣。
Yi Toegye's poetics is philosophically based on his theory of Xing-Qing (similarly means natural instinct and sentiment), poetries act on Xing-Qing, leading mind to the correspondence between man and nature. His poetries are not only consistent with the classical thought of Confucianists on literature, which is embodied by the thinking of Confucian idealist on the original nature of morality, that is say, the form of beauty is no long an objective but for the realm of moral esthetics; but also contain the thought of the Taoists on literature, which is embodied on his view on nature like a Taoist, that 's to say, mind and scene are harmoniously closed to each other.
