The development of virtual technology is a challenge to library physical space and forces librarians to rethink the value of the library physical space. The paper attempts to base on IC to reshape library physical space. It briefly reviews the functions evolution of the library physical space and analyzes IC＇ s concept, function, building models and spatial planning in order to promote the improvement of library physical space.
