摘要
Cast iron and steel consume rare earths the most in China, making up about 1/3 of total rare earth consumption, at an annual increase rate of 5%~8%. Main products include RE-ferrosilicon and RE-Mg-ferrosilicon, consuming about 25,000 tons REO per annum. By the end of 2006, output of RE-silicon was 50,000 tons, including 14,000 tons from Sichuan, 22,000 tons from Inner Mongolia, 5,000 tons from Shanxi,
