摘要 作为一家在纳斯达克上市的新媒体企业,分众传媒的“分众传播”“渠道垄断”的模式曾经备受推崇,开创了广告行业一片广袤的蓝海。 The key reason for Focus Media to turn from wax to wane is that it has stretched its business lines too much and failed to create synergy.Looking back,although Focus Media has a clear strategy of pursuing M&As,its internal integration and innovation are far from being suff icient.The greatest weakness of Focus Media is its excessive reliance on acquisitions instead of growing organically in time.Launching offenses without defending one's own ground is a sure recipe for failure.Acquisitions are more than intended to eliminate the competition and dominate pricing—they should be able to inject energy and vitality into new and expanded entities.Three after its listing,Focus Media seems less innovative than it ought to be.
