摘要
这篇论文的写作目的是研究中美高等教育哲学的差异;研究旨在探索产生差异的历史方面的原因。经过研究,作者得出这样的结论,这两种思想截然不同的教育制度各有利弊、平分秋色。本论文将应用比较与对比法揭示这两种教育哲学体系产生的根源及其优劣之处。
The purpose of this study is to compare the American higher education with its Chinese counterpart on the educational philosophy. The study aims to explore the reasons why there is an obvious difference between the two educational philosophies, which include historical reasons and reasons concerned with different teaching methodologies. Besides, the advantages and disadvantages of the two educational philosophies will be shown in the thesis. After doing the research, I conclude that the two higher educational systems with the divergent educational philosophies have their respective strong points and weak points. Based on the method of comparison and contrast, this thesis aims at discovering what is behind the two educational philosophies and the advantages and disadvantages of the two philosophies.
