从《史记·河渠书》说到当代中国水利通史的编纂

SHIJI HEQUSHU and the General History of Chinese Water Conservancy

20世纪以来,中国水利通史编纂在批判继承传统水利遗产方面取得了长足进展:第一,疏通知远,系统梳理了中国水利发展史;第二,立足现代水利工程科学,系统评价了传统水利;第三,从科学哲学和环境史角度审视中国水利遗产,积极回应当代科学发展和生态文明建设的现实需要;第四,对中国水利史的反思呈现出鲜明的经世致用等史学意识。这充分体现了中国水利通史编纂的学术价值和应用价值。

China has accumlulated a wealth of heritage of water conservancy for thousand years. We can draw great inspiration from the general history of water conservancy in China since 20th century in how to make the past serve the present, how to criticize and inherit, how to advance towards future. In the 20th Century, Chinese historia of water conservancy a systematic study of the history of water conservancy in China. Second, it evaluated the traditional water conservancy in a systematic way based on the view of general history and modem engineering and technology of water conservancy. Third, it examined the heritage of water conservancy from the angel of view of philosophy of science and environmental history. Fourth, it expressed the deep consciousness of historiography of water conservancy. The study of general history of water conservancy in China has great scholarly value in historiography, but also modem value in carrying forward the function of history.
