The feature and superiority of the deep bath combined with bottom gas stirring technolo gy for DC EAF developed by Nippon Steel Corporation are introduced; moreover, the optimal ratio of bath depth(H) to liquid steel surface diameter (D) and the process parameters of bottom gas stirring are described.
