摘要
兴起于20世纪80年代的复杂性科学,是当代科学发展的前沿之一.复杂系统是复杂性科学的研究对象,因此对研究复杂系统的方法进行总结和归纳是充满挑战且极具意义的.通过讨论,归纳出了自下而上的"涌现"方法和自上而下的"控制"方法这两条研究路线,其中包含了隐喻、模型、数值、计算、虚拟和综合集成6种具体的研究方法.并通过一个简单实例来说明它们的应用,同时指出"涌现"方法更适合人们用来研究更多类型的复杂系统.
Complexity science arose in the 1980s and continues to be one of the leading edges in the development of modern science. Complex systems are a main subject of research in complexity science ; summarizing the techniques of complex system research is very challenging and has great significance. This paper discusses two different techniques to research complex systems, one technique is called "Emergence", the other one is called "Control" ; both are bottom-up methods. These two techniques were then shown to be divisible into six categories. This paper also demonstrated the applications of these techniques and concluded that the "Emergence" technique is generally suitable when studying different types of complex systems.
