Differentiation of physical features between the orderly and his officer in his early short story ＂The Prussian Officer＂ ensures the possibility of an unconscious dialogue to initiate a new life relationship which transgresses the established ones. Homoeroticism pracitised in violence embodies Lawrence＇ s ambition of building a world of man power. The awakening senses of body generate the unconscious which is the essense of living. That is the medium Lawrence applies to challenge the degenerating modem civilization.
